NBSC SHOWCASES EXTENSION EXCELLENCE AT 2026 PAEPI INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE
Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) actively participated in the 2026 Philippine Association of Extension Program Implementors, Inc. (PAEPI) International Extension Conference held from April 13 to 17, 2026, at Tag Resort, Coron, Palawan. Anchored on the theme “Next-Gen Extension: Driving Socioeconomic Change for Inclusive Community Development,” the conference brought together extension professionals, researchers, and educators from SUCs, HEIs, and LUCs to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing for community advancement.
NBSC was represented by its Extension Coordinators: Noraisah U. Radaza, MA(Institute for Teacher Education), Julius S. Gabinete, MBA (Institute for Business Management), and Melven I. Valmoria, MSc (Department of General Education Curricula). They presented innovative and community-responsive extension programs focused on literacy, capacity-building, and inclusive development.
During the presentations, Noraisah U. Radaza partnered with Mission ALBA of Cong. Jose Manuel “Joeman” F. Alba to advance literacy and community development, Julius S. Gabinete collaborated with the Department of Trade and Industry, LGU Manolo Fortich (LEDIPO and Negosyo Center), and the Manolo Fortich Chamber of Commerce and Industry Incorporated to strengthen local entrepreneurship initiatives., while Melven I. Valmoria co-authored an extension project with Councilor Rina E. Quiño, highlighting strong collaboration between academe and local government.
NBSC’s participation reflects its strong commitment to advancing extension services as a vital function of higher education and as a driver of meaningful community engagement and nation-building. It also demonstrates the college’s continued efforts to strengthen research-based extension programs through collaboration and dissemination on global platforms.
